Dr. Tracey Alys Wright is originally
from the small coastal town of Duxbury, Massachusetts.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from
Clemson University in South Carolina, and a Doctor
Of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College
West in Hayward, California. She is licensed as a
chiropractor in both Hawaii and
Massachusetts.
New to Haiku, she is excited
to serve chiropractic at The Studio Maui, a place
that feels so alive, vibrant, and full of beautiful,
health conscious, spiritual, community residents.
Since graduating in 2004 Dr.
Tracey has chosen to do a significant amount of traveling
to bring chiropractic care to children and people
in impoverished areas of the world. She has provided
free care while working with other like hearted chiropractors
in Jamaica, Bali, El
Salvador, and India.
Her passion for travel and music has also
allowed her to serve as the
chiropractor for quite a few world renown musicians.
Dr. Tracey specializes in Bio-Geometric
Integration (BGI), a chiropractic approach that embodies
the discoveries of cutting edge science while honoring
the ancient wisdom of the body. Chiropractic care
focuses on the ability of the of the body’s
innate intelligence to heal itself and express greater
life from within while constantly adapting to its
external environment. Gentle adjustments are delivered
by hand to remove interference to the the body’s
major communication system, the nervous system. This
allows the individual to
express greater levels of vitality physically, mentally,
emotionally and
spiritually.
Dr. Tracey is also birth doula.
A doula is a professional trained in childbirth that
provides emotional, physical, and informational support
to the woman who is expecting, in labor or has recently
given birth. Dr. Tracey chose to become a doula to
act as a birth advocate while also being able to be
part of the journey of women having safe, memorable
and empowering birth experiences. Dr. Tracey offers
her chiropractic expertise during pregnancy and births
and is able to provide adjustments during labor as
well as to newborn infants soon after they enter the
world.
Dr. Tracey has served as staff
at Masterpiece Training Camp and Making Love to the
Spine Seminars. She is a member of the ICPA, International
Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Tracey has always enjoyed
being active and connected to her body. She has been
receiving chiropractic adjustments regularly since
the age of 2. It wasn’t until chiropractic school
at the age of 22 that she discovered her love for
yoga and dance. She feels that the combination of
getting adjusted regularly combined with regular yoga/dance
practice allows her to have a better connection to
her spirit, and a greater sense of ease and flexibility.
Dr. Tracey is looking forward
to serving not only the Maui community but also the
committed yoga and dance participants of The Studio
Maui. She is excited about optimizing human potential
and loves supporting people in their journey of wellness.
She is dedicated to working with families and children
of all ages to assist them in experiencing and
expressing greater levels of health and well-being.
